Overnight Chocolate Chip French Toast

My grocery store always has the day old bread on sale for 99¢. There is nothing different from the fresh baked, except it can be a little dry. Recipes like bread pudding, crostini, and panini sandwiches are all good ways to utilize this awesome discount.
Overnight French Toast
A few years back I created a recipe out of pure laziness. I really wanted some bread pudding but I wasn't up for slicing a full loaf of french bread into little cubes. With many failed attempts to soak overnight and pan fry I had to think of something else.  Instead I thought to layer full slices and bake off like bread pudding.
