Back in my day the first medicated treat I tried was a
chocolate chip cookie. These simple delicious snacks are the best for some
mid-day medicating.
Using a simple infused butter or coconut oil can be used in this recipe. I have made tons of chocolate chip cookies over the years. Some people like them crunchy, soft, or chewy. I like mine chewy in the center with a slight border crust.

The most important thing to know about doing a good cookie recipe is to make sure you cream the butter and sugar together until whipped a light in color.
I also love using brown sugar, which give cookies a finish chewy texture.
Make sure you mix until the dough starts to come together.
When you scoop out dough make sure to lightly press out on the pan. This allows the dough to bake evenly.
Last thing I like to keep in mind is baking until almost done. The borders will get just golden brown. A this moment you wan to pull them out of the oven. Cookies have carry over baking that happens when the cookies cool on the sheet pan.
